- 1 / 5By simon wardTraveled to beverley yesterday 11th May 2017 and visited the angel pub,have always read the reviews but never left a review before but felt very strongly that one had to be left.AVOID AT ALL COSTS, both myself and my partner were attracted to there menu as it stated all meals were home cooked.In fact the meals brought to us were nothing more than cheap Iceland pound meals, cooked in a microwave, greasy chips and had to go looking for out own knives and forks as they were not brought to our outside table.the staff were not rude but seemed to want to focus on local drinkers in the bar...WOULD NOT HVE SERVED THIS STYLE OF FOOD TO MY DOG...January 16, 2017
